At WJS Canada, we understand the importance of a non-judgmental and supportive environment for individuals and families. Our experienced counsellors specialize in helping with various complex issues, including trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, grief, attachment, and family relationships.
Our clinical team supports our staff working with children, youth, families, and individuals by offering mentorship through partnered support work, psychoeducation, and clinical consultation services tailored to individual needs and goals. Our approach is client-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed, and grounded in bio-psycho-social-cultural and evidence-based practices.

Pamela has over 18 years experience working as a registered psychologist. She is also a certified Hakomi therapist and teacher. She specializes in trauma, relationship challenges and personal development.
Pamela has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and extensive training in the area of somatic therapy through the Hakomi Institute, Somatic Experiencing (SE) and EMDR. Pamela also provides professional supervision and teaching for those entering the field of psychology.

Integrative Behaviour Support
WJS Canada’s Integrative Behaviour Support Services assist adults and children develop socially acceptable behaviours and forge community connections. These services enhance the skills of parents, caregivers, and support workers, offering workshops, consultations, and training in proactive strategizing, crisis assessment, and understanding restrictive procedures.
These services are offered internally to our existing clients and are accessed through internal referrals, ensuring comprehensive and continuous support.
